HOW THE STORY BEGAN
NGB Yachting Services was founded in 2012 to provide an operational and technical support and ISM / ISPS consultancy for a 60m MY.
At the time, we have created one of the first-ever paperless ISM / SMS manuals with all digital check-lists operated from iPads - created in-house with the only third party assistance in programming.
Since then we have conducted over 100 Flag and Class Surveys onboard large yachts (annuals, intermediate, special, commercial registration audits, bank and insurance surveys), tens of pre-purchase / condition Surveys (60m MY, 71m MY, 90m SY and number of smaller yachts).
Reports provided also included the budget projections for the operation of these vessels (both technical and operational / crew).
What We Do Now
NEW BUILD, REFIT & REPAIR MANAGEMENT
Directly overseen and in charge of several large multi-million Euro shipyard periods / Refits (with one major 10M+) including large scale paint repairs and finishing (full paint-job on a 85m MY), major services on Main Engines and Generators, thrusters, stabilizers, steering gear, shafts, rudders and propellers works, AC plants, shore-power converters, antifouling systems, cathodic protection, Bridge / Navigational and communications equipment, major AV/IT upgrades, LSA & FFE equipment, tanks repairs and coatings, deck repairs and teak replacement, interior and exterior lights upgrade, luxury & crew interior modifications, repairs and upgrades.
Overseen the full reconstruction of the main silver Balustrade, inspection and final acceptance (1.6M project alone).
All of the above works / shipyard periods / refits were handled ON TIME and on budget we created.
Directly in charge of the pre-planning stages which allowed for choosing the right shipyard, tendering and contracts negotiations which in return brings overall and SIGNIFICANT COST SAVINGS for our Clients and ON-TIME DELIVERY for scheduled charters.
